National Advocacy Conference
Overview
The National Advocacy Conference (NAC) is a student-focused advocacy event held in Washington, DC that aims to raise awareness and support for STEM and robotics education at the national level. It brings together students, mentors, and parents to learn how to effectively communicate with policymakers and promote the importance of these programs across the country.
Attendees have the opportunity to learn from advocacy experts on topics such as federal policymaking, effective communication strategies, and the impact of student voices in government. Participants then use these skills to meet with members of Congress, applying their knowledge in real advocacy settings. Students, mentors, and parents are all welcome to attend, with the shared goal of strengthening and expanding STEM education opportunities nationwide.
