Michigan Advocacy Conference
Overview
The Michigan Advocacy Conference (MAC) is a student-led and organized advocacy conference focused on heightening the awareness of valuable after-school robotics education programs
Attendees will get the opportunity to listen and speak to advocacy experts on a variety of topics including how to get started in state advocacy, Michigan's unique role in STEM education, and the impact of student advocacy. Attendees will then be able to create meetings with elected officials to put their newly-acquired advocacy knowledge to use. Students, mentors, and parents are all welcome to register.
Section 99H of the Michigan School Aid Budget appropriates for a competitive grant program that supports all types of robotics teams. Our goal is to continue and grow the program, making a difference for students in our great state.
